All visitors and service users to the service centre are to wear a face covering unless they are exempt in accordance with the government guidelines.
Any visitors and service users who are not exempt and refuse to wear a face covering may have their appointment cancelled.
In line with government guidelines, we have postponed all face-to-face meetings of our service user forums.
Our partnership and engagement team has worked hard to find alternative ways to maintain service users' engagement and co-design of our services, especially with unfolding events. We have set up a new Facebook group and have arranged online service user forums.
The next online meeting will be held on Thursday, 20th May 2021, from 11.00am to 12.30pm. Meanwhile, we're very happy to hear from you in the Facebook group.

We are asking everyone to inform us at referral stage if they are suspected of, or have a confirmed diagnosis of, COVID-19. If this is the case, our working processes are:
We are only seeing confirmed COVID-19 service users in emergency situations. We will be risk assessing on an individual basis.
Collection of equipment from confirmed COVID-19 service users. We will be asking for equipment to be left outside the property and for us to be informed of the date of last use.
We will collect 90 hours after the last use of the equipment. Family and carers are to dispose of any basic cushions prior to collection of the wheelchair.
We are complying with service users’ wishes around isolation.
We are encouraging service users to attend clinic appointments if they are able. We are also arranging home visit appointments.
We are still doing repairs and will carry out repairs outside properties at service user request.
We do have PPE. We are following strict infection control procedures within our clinic and out on the road.
Our current main focus is:
– supporting hospitals with discharges and reducing admissions.
– handovers of equipment where the service user is happy for us to do so.
